Half-rim frame made of copper, round type eyewear. This is a hand-hammered patina model that expresses the ageing process of fading, wear and rust. The rust treatment (verdigris) is done by adjusting the color by soaking it in a special chemical that has been mixed originally, the soaking time is adjusted by the designer's sense so each item has a different look. Verdigris is a blue-green rust produced by the oxidation of copper, also called copper rust. It has been used for coloring copper alloys, forming a film on the surface of copper plates to prevent internal corrosion and has an antibacterial effect. Since ancient times, its unique color has been incorporated into copper roofing roofs and bronze statues.
