The material is a twill made of cotton, Japanese paper, and cupra, and while it has a natural texture, the fine texture of Japanese paper and the thickness of cupra make it very soft to the touch. The print is a herb-dyeing process in which natural mulberry leaves and other plants are placed directly on the fabric and transferred with heat. The coloring differs depending on the condition of the leaves, and the beauty and unevenness created by nature is interesting. No two patterns are the same, making this a one-of-a-kind item.
