UMA WANG 2022-23 Autumn Winter Collection.

This gown coat has a relaxed silhouette with a generous body width. The front is tied and fastened with a drawcord rather than buttons. The front and back seams are cut off, and a slit is cut from the collar to the middle of the back to reveal a separate fabric, giving it an impressive appearance that falls from the back to the shoulders. The fabric, a blend of virgin wool and linen, has a checkered pattern based on earth tones. Washing gives it a bumpy texture and raised feel due to the difference in shrinkage rate. The pattern is produced by taking large parts to reduce the number of fabric switches, so the area of each piece of fabric is wide, and the dynamic expression of the fabric is utilized.
