This is an iconic model in the OLUBIYI THOMAS collection. As the name suggests, this item is inspired by the Japanese kimono. The textiles used are indigenous to Mali, a country in West Africa, the designer's home area. This textile, one of the designer's most cherished textiles, originally had a width of only 10 cm to 15 cm, and was sewn together one by one. Each piece is hand-dyed with mud, hand-spun, and hand-woven, and each piece has a different pattern.
