One of the reasons why we fell in love with ZIGGY CHEN items is because of this coat.
The long coat features a big peaked lapel that is composed of two fabrics of wool surge with firmness that strongly strikes strongly with the twist yarn. The wool surge has a moderately raised feeling as well.
It might be hard for you to see in the photos but it has a little shade and tones even though it is all black. The raised surge fabric is darker and the main parts look a little more pale, even though, again, it is all black!

Next is about the silhouette.
When we saw this product at the exhibition we felt a strange feeling that is hard to explain.
We let our staff model try it on with the buttons opened and closed, several times to see and as we expected, there was a sense of incongruity.
You can see it when you close the front and wear it, the part of the buttocks has darts on both sides on the loser oblique direction.

Here the fabric has not only changed but the direction of flow is also changed.
Opening the button spreads to the A line, closing the button will deepen the meeting towards the hem, turning into a cocoon silhouette.
Although the different fabrics with different hardness and thickness are arranged in asymmetry, itshapes the symmetry exactly. As the part of the dart is on the top, the meeting is deepening towards the hem, and it gradually becomes thinner towards the hem.
It's truly stunning. I guess it took time to make. While thinking about it, the clothes here are interesting and we want to introduce this to people. It was a piece that has a thoughtful but cheeky accents.
For ZIGGY CHEN, turning the clothes inside out, considering the wearer’s experience etc., is what makes them stand out with the way they produce their items. It also explains how pricey they get!
That is why we love this brand and decided to handle them.
The button is of a big buffalo horn button, the thickness is one that we have never seen before.
Moreover, a stone wash to the processing of the button was applied to gives damage to the button. If it is not thick enough, it will crack and such processing can not be done.
The sleeve has also has a real incision and a little small horn button is arranged.
11 finely reinforced stitching on the collar waist has been done as well.
It is a combination of detailed fabric of cupra sliding core-stopping stitch.
Specification of lining is that it is semi-lined that was made a little bigger. The specification of the back is beautifully processed by piping

Next will be the shirt.
As well as a coat, is has a slightly long length and the silhouette has darts on the front.
Of course, depending on the season, it can be used layered or you can also use it as a light overcoat.
The difference in the atmosphere when we closed and opening it is interesting here as well. When you open the button the fabric has a falling feeling.
The white seam tape connects both sleeves and also makes the pattern flow stand out.
It has small black horn buttons. There is also a slight gradation.
It is interesting to see the bizarre pattern of the pattern from the back as well so please have a look!
