Although it is quite rare to have heavy Yohji Yamamoto outerwear pieces, so styling your coordinates like styles like this one are really for those who are living in really cold countries. This is one of the points you can enjoy playfully layering items to give an outfit with complexity.
In this style, the most outer piece is the raglan sleeve wrinkled gabardine jacket and the inner piece is the pile lined brush coat that you can wear as a cardigan as well.
The pile coat has a rough look and does not have a lining, by wearing it as an inner like this, is wind proofs the outfit and also retains a lot of heat with the coat.
Moreover, although this style is all black, the difference in the texture of the materials between the wrinkled gabardine and the soft pile fabric gives it depth and a very expressive finish.
