This item is what you might call an entry-level piece, created by Yohji Yamamoto using the classic overlock broadcloth, which is well-known for its Oriental pattern featured in the LOOK4,LOOK20 runway collection.

This broadcloth rendition simplifies the design and offers a more affordable price.

What's appealing about broadcloth fabric is that it's relatively easy to clean, a practical feature for shirt materials used by this brand.

Although the fabric differs from the patterned fabric seen on the runway, the basic details remain the same.

Originally, we intended to introduce the Black color as well, but due to its popularity, it's currently sold out. So, we'll focus on the White color.

In terms of details, this piece incorporates Yohji Yamamoto's signature layered design with a double-layered front, and the waist belt is threaded through the outer front layer, which is a distinctive feature.

While the collar is a basic regular collar, the double-layered semi-double front design and the waist belt threaded through the waist add an Eastern touch to the piece.

This season's Yohji Yamamoto collection is themed around Central Asia, a region where Western and Eastern cultures intersect.

This shirt seems to embody the elements of Central Asia in a single garment.

Originally we were going to introduce it together with the different colour Black, but Black has already been sold out due to high demand, so we have only introduced it in White colour.

By the way, the jacquard-woven type, as seen on the runway, is currently available in size 3 only, but is still in stock.

These pieces are made from a jacquard fabric using Indian cotton, dyed with ancient Indian indigo dye, and further dyed with ink at a dyeing factory in Kyoto.

The hem features a fringe-like design, adding elements reminiscent of Central Asian ethnic clothing to the item.

Among the runway-worn items, these are relatively affordable and allow you to experience the atmosphere of this season.
