Glam slam is one of the staple materials at Maison Margiela.

This unique bag with cushion-like padded body was first introduced in the Spring/Summer 2018 collection and is already in its fifth year.

The distinctive quilted leather design was inspired by the hand-sewn quilted "matelasse" made in Marseille, France, and is also known as the "pillow bag," as the model famously walked the runway holding it under the arm like a pillow during the collection.

The material is nappa leather (sheepskin) for softness and durability, and the quilted body is truly fluffy to the touch.
