The Tabi design was originally introduced in the women's collection with the Tabi heel boot.

The Tabi Babouche is one of my personal favorites among Margiela's Tabi design shoes, with its clean, minimalist design and flat sole, making it easy to incorporate into men's styles.

What exactly is babouche anyway? As some of you may have guessed, these shoes were originally a traditional Moroccan national costume with the Persian word for covering the legs.

In Japan, indoor shoes have a strong image of slippers, and although they originally make the heel part, they are generally glued with the heel folded inward.

The Tabi babouche, which adds Margiela's unique essence to the originally rough-looking babouche, uses genuine leather sole but is finished with clean, flat sole, creating a luxurious feel around the foot.

The sole has been replaced with rubber sole from the beginning, allowing for the practicality of replacing the sole only by replacing the heel.
