The R special order item with updated fabric and specifications based on "Hand Print Long Jacket" which was developed in the past is now available.
Lyocell is made of plant-reclaimed fiber produced by Lenzing Fibers of Austria. It has a unique luster, drape feeling, and cotton tension. This item can be worn for three seasons, spring, summer, and autumn.
The print is made of water-based pigment that does not harden.
Since it is a white print on a black background, in order to make it easy for the colors to blend, it uses a "dressing method" where only the surface is lightly discharged and then the pigment print is layered, and the print that stands out on the black body is a characteristic finish.
The "hand" design on the back was taken by the designer as a photo of the hand of the pattern-making instructor who took care of him for more than 30 years when he was in school. Maruyama said a few years before the instructor died, "The wrinkles engraved on the hand holding the cigarette were cool and I took the photo without thinking".
From the designer Maruyama's point of view, the design is very thoughtful.
