The Viridi-anne celebrates its 20 year anniversary this year.

Including our staff’s previous job, The Viridi-anne he has been in charge of this project for about 15 years. "BLACK" is a strong brand in terms of brand image and popularity among customers. Personally, we always think original "patterned items" released for each collection are wonderful, and we would like to introduce a little charm other than BLACK in this column.

Then, let's start with the pattern series that was released recently.

◆2016 SS Collection "Random Check Series"◆

This is a "random check series" that uses a rather large check pattern.

This was cool!

Regarding the fabric in the 2016 SS collection, we were captivated by the uneven color and the exquisite large check pattern that looks like a check but not a check.

As for the pattern series for each season, basically it is the original of the brand and "developed from the fabric", so even if it is said that it takes a lot of time and is rare (* it is finished when the produced fabric is gone), the specialty is overwhelmingly different.

The Viridi-anne's classic plaid and stripes make for a cool, mature look, including colors and tones.

Generally, the check pattern tends to give a casual and childish impression, so we think it is a difficult item to recommend for adult customers, but the Viridi-anne's item is a setup that we would like you to enjoy.

◆2018 AW Collection "Random Stripe Series"◆

followed by the Random Stripe Series released at 2018 AW.

This is also a fabric that has plain and stripes, but the fabric that has 3 different thick stripes and is mixed was the fabric that felt "Cool!" when we saw it at the exhibition.

We think the "random stripe" series started this year, but the 2019 and 2020 series will be followed by the stripe series.

◆2019 AW Collection "Random Stripe Series"◆

For the 19 AW season, the ladies' collection has been revived after a long time.

This item is available in thick wool with a plain and random stripe pattern.

These days, there are many sporty blousons and pants made of functional fabric, but the Viridi-anne used to be a tailor-made brand in the past, and they are really good at making jackets and slacks.

In 19 AW, there were many tailored items, and there were slacks with a super wide silhouette for the first time in a while, and we have an impression that there were many suggestions for setups, so it was our favorite season.

◆2020 SS Collection "Random Stripe Series"◆

The "Random Stripe Pattern" series, which is a minor change from the 20 SS collection and 19 AW, is released in a light and refreshing linen nylon fabric.

"Random Stripe" was released after 19 AW, so it was a bit out of date personally, but the width of the stripes is like a panel and the texture of the fabric is completely different.

Since the pattern is more visible, it has an impact when worn with a plain item.

The set-up was also cool at this time!

Let's introduce the main theme of what kind of patterns are released in 21 SS this season!!

【Comparison of 21 SS Linen Broadcoat Square Print and Plain Models】

This season's original pattern is not stripe but square print.

The square pattern of different thickness is printed and randomly cut without matching the pattern, so there are things printed like stripes, on the other hand, there are things with many square corners, and each item has different patterns.

Compared to plain fabric, the atmosphere and appearance are completely different, so although the fabric is different (different colors), we think you can think of something completely different.

Let's start with the "square print" coat and style.

This coat has a relaxed silhouette with an oversized silhouette.

Since this item is made without lining fabric, it is breathable and has a refreshing feel that can be worn even in the middle of summer.

Made with 100% linen broadcloth for a high quality feel.

Rather, by wearing and washing it repeatedly, the linen blends in softly and softly, making it easier to wear and more comfortable to the skin, so we think it is worth raising.

How does the print look?

It has a square print, but depending on the place, it looks like a stripe, and there is a part that looks like a check, so I think you will find it interesting.

The appearance of the pattern is different depending on the product, so it is also the point of this item that it is unique.

As you can see from the photo from the side, the arm line is also thick and can be adjusted with the belt attached to the wrist.

When the temperature rises, it seems cool to roll up the sleeves to the elbow and wear it roughly.

The front has a simple design with 6 large original buttons.

It has action pleats in the back center, so the actual width setting is quite wide.

You can use the attached belt to tighten the waist like a gown, or tie it like a trench coat to make the silhouette a little thinner.

There is a loop on the neck, so you can hang it on an S-shaped hook for storage.

This is a spring coat from ALL BLACK which is very typical of The Viridi-anne.

This is also made of the same material as the print model, so you can fully enjoy the high quality linen broad fabric.

Since it is made of 100% linen, it is completely black, but it has faded eyes, and in words, it has a look like "black ink".

If you wear it for a long time without getting tired of it, the black iron plate is sure to be used!!

Since this item has a relaxed fit with plenty of room on both the body width and arms, it can be worn over a jacket or oversized items without worrying about the size.

In the coming season, we think you can wear it casually over a shirt or cut sew for a good atmosphere.

This season is finished with a very simple design, so you can enjoy the BLACK model for a long time without going out of fashion.

However, we personally recommend Square Print, so please try it on.

Of course, but personally, that fabric is always the point and we always say, "It's good ~".

Naturally, the original fabric and the small lot production make the price higher, so there are many things that the buyers of other stores do not buy, but personally, the fabric and items that will be the "face of the season" are in the store, and if you have the opportunity to see them directly, we think you can feel the season of the brand.
