Introducing the new line DISTORTION3 by nude:masahiko maruyama for the 2023-24 autumn-winter collection.
DISTORTION3 is a collaboration between "PR-y," an organization aimed at promoting creative works by people with intellectual disabilities and mental disorders, and the "Yamanami Workshop," a disability support facility in Shiga Prefecture.
This line features prints of artworks by artists attending the "Yamanami Workshop," applied onto fabrics and designed by nude:masahiko maruyama's designer, Mr. Maruyama.
This time, the artwork of artist "Yuki Kamitsuchibashi" from the "Yamanami Workshop" has been used to create a patchwork design on the entire cut-and-sewn piece.
The patchwork is composed of monochromatic tones, resulting in a mode-like finish.
The short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions feature different patchwork designs and color schemes, with large patchworks on the back of both. Intricate details, such as tape-like processing applied to the original tape areas, highlight the craftsmanship put into these pieces.
