CORIU is a leather bag brand that has been hand-made by 3 families of leather craftsmen, bag craftsmen, and metal craftsmen since 19 century in Italy.
The leather is called "corium" in Latin and "CORIU" in Southern Italy. To honor the history and tradition of leather, this brand was named CORIU.

The leather craftsmen are a family with a history of running a leather business four generations ago. Since my great-grandfather started business in Naples, the tradition and knowledge of leather accessories and tanning has been passed down to this day.
The family of bagmakers is based in a small city in southern Italy and started their bag studio in Rome in the '60s. At the studio, they receive orders for the Italian Maison brand, while at the same time placing importance on handwork, and by remaining in a small town, the skills and techniques of craftsmen have been passed down from generation to generation.
The family of metalsmiths uses a traditional hand-crafted metalworking technique called Metalo Battuta in southern Italy to create pure brass accessories that are more beautifully aged by the owner.

Combining the technologies of these three families, CORIU focuses on the practicality of its simple design, and it is a leather bag brand that can be used for a long time without being influenced by trends.

The tanned leather is prepared by soaking it in a pond containing astringent extracted from plants for 3 weeks to loosen the fibers of the leather.

Then, put the skins, tanning agents, dyes, oils, and fats together in a rotating barrel, and stir it by rotating it greatly.
The leather of CORIU is made with the cooperation of Conceria Volpi established in 1951, which still continues the traditional method of tanning with a wooden barrel made of natural oak.

In addition to the deep brown color of MORO, ANNASTESIA has selected gold brass parts and solid creases.
This bag is made with an elegant silhouette and expressive fabric and has a casual look with an emphasis on the air that can be enjoyed on a daily basis.

LUX is jet-black leather that has been polished to the mirror surface using the high shine method.
With the cooperation of Tuscany's up-and-coming tanner Grifone, this product is polished with wax, then drips a few drops of water, and is polished several times to produce a deep and elegant luster.
The brass parts are combined with a moderate black.

Inside, there is a pocket with a zipper on the pig leather lining.
