Today we would like to introduce a wool/linen combination coat from {{widget type="Magento\\Catalog\\Block\\Category\\Widget\\Link" anchor_text="The Viridi-anne" title="The Viridi-anne" template="category/widget/link/link_inline.phtml" id_path="category/15"}} , which is now available at FASCINATE (Kitahorie) / The R (Minamihorie, Osaka) / .LOGY Kyoto stores.
The image of the design is [military without war]
This coat, with its impressive material switching, mixes mod coats and fireman's coats in its design in every detail, reflecting a strong military taste.
However, the atmosphere is not overly military, and according to Okaniwa, he has tried to create a [non-warlike military feel].
While details such as the industrial buckles create a sense of weight, the soft texture of washed natural materials and the loose, rounded silhouette add a somewhat relaxed atmosphere, giving the finished product the image he was aiming for.
Nostalgic atmosphere created with a lot of time and effort
Three different types of fabrics with the same blend of 50% wool and 50% linen were produced in Bishu, a well-known woolen textile production area in Japan.
The outer fabric is made of wool for the warp and linen for the weft, woven in a slightly sweet twill weave, and washer-tumbled on the fabric to create an expression on the surface due to the difference in shrinkage rate.
The resulting fabric is then joined with cotton typewriter in smaller parts, and washed in the production line to add another difference in shrinkage rate and create a more uneven look.
A glimpse of both sides of The Viridi-anne and DUELLUM
The fabrics, created through a labor-intensive process, are randomly arranged while keeping an eye on the overall balance.
The use of nostalgic fabrics, as well as the texture and switching of materials, is something that has not been seen in TVA before.
Mr. Okaniwa once said, "The Viridi-anne and DUELLUM have different concepts and directions of creation, but they give each other good influences and insights into each other's creations," and this is one area where I feel DUELLUM's influence in a good way.
As a mainstay of autumn and winter
This coat alone creates the atmosphere of the entire styling, so I think the orthodox way to wear it is to wear it simply, with the coat as the main feature.
In the look, the relaxed silhouette of the coat is offset by slim pants and shoes with a little volume.

Model 185cm / 66kg. Wearing size: All / Size 3.
This is from our previous blog.
The front opening of the coat gives the impression of being loose when open, and the design is emphasized more when closed, giving a sense of the many variations of how the coat can be worn.
Model 180cm/64kg. Wearing size: Coat/Size 3, T-shirt/Size 3, Pants/Size 2, Shoes/Size 43.
When actually worn, the item blends in better than it looks and is a favorite design item for those who like it.
The finish is one that gives you a full sense of TVA's character, so we hope you will try it on for yourself.
