Today, from Yohji Yamamotowhich is available at FASCINATE_THE R (Osaka, Shinsaibashi) and FASCINATE_KYOTO (Kyoto, Kawaramachi), we are introducing a style using gown blouses with a strong Central Asian concept and a strong sense of collectibility this season.
Gown shirt style reminiscent of Central Asian folk costumes
This style features a left two-layer pattern gown blouse with a distinctive oriental pattern reminiscent of the ethnic costumes of Central Asia.
This LOOK wearing item was worn in 2 styles on the runway LOOK 4.20, and the relatively reasonable price among the distinctive items is also attractive.
Model 181cm/58kg. Wearing Size:Shirt/Size 2,Pants /Size 3.
Yohji Yamamoto 23-24AW style for a stateless look
The gown shirt, the star of the style, is made of two pieces on the left front, and the belt that cinches the waist is an irregular mechanism that passes between the two pieces.
The fabric is jacquard made of Indian cotton, dyed with traditional Indian indigo dye, and then sumi-dyed at a dyeing factory in Kyoto, Japan.
At first glance, the color scheme appears to be black and gray, but the parts that look black and the fringed hem are a very deep navy color.
The Yohji Yamamoto 23-24AW collection is based on the concept of Central Asia.
While drawing inspiration from ethnic attire and similar sources, the style is less about fashion and more about a layered approach, primarily intended for keeping warm by simply layering available clothing items.
Therefore, it can be said that this season's Yohji Yamamoto has a random mix of clothing and oriental ethnic costumes.
In this style, shirts are used in a straightforward manner, but we hope that you will enjoy the stateless style of wearing a tailored jacket with strong Western elements over a gown-type shirt.
Irregular pattern pants with bold pattern work to ensure momentum
The bottom is the in-seam drape pants we used in our recent blog.
As we wrote in our blog the other day, this item is already sold out, but this is also one of this season's representative pants.
The bold pattern created with both legs spread wide in an "H" shape may seem new at first glance, but it can also be considered a classic construction method that forcefully ensures freedom of movement for the legs without the need for intricate fabric cutting and piecing to make the pants.
New pants are produced every season in the classic gabardine material, and these pants are definitely representative of this season's lineup.
There are currently no plans to bring in the same type of pants, but we are planning to bring in one bottom model using the same series of patterns in the future.
