・Biography of designer Takeshi Osumi (BIG-O) and SHAKKAZOMBIE of PHENOMENON

・His real name is Takeshi Osumi as it is on public display and he was born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1974.

・1993: MC Hidehiro Iguchi(HID-BOWIE/IGNITION MAN) and track maker Shinji Tsuchida(TSUTCHIE) form the hip-hop group SHAKKAZOMBIE, and Osumi works as a BIG-O.

・1996: He made his major debut with「cutting edge」on the major label AVEX. Formed「BUDDHA BRAND」and 「Okami」, participated in the large-scale hip-hop event「THUMPIN CAMP」.

・1997: Shakkazombie's first 1st album 「HERO THE S.Z.」was released.

・1999: Upon the release of his 2nd album "JOURNEY OF FORESIGHT" he started the streetwear brand「SWAGGER」together with member Hidehiro Iguchi.

・2003: Their 3rd album「THE GOODFELLAZ」was released.

・2004: PHENOMENON, which is now available in The R, started as a solo project. This is where the history of Phenomenon begins.

・2010: PHENOMENON made his runway debut at Tokyo Fashion Week. And the collaboration line「MCM by PHENOMENON」of MCM is also started.

・2012: He released「Mr. Gentleman」with the owner Yuichi YOSHII of THE CONTEMPORARY FIX.

・2016: He retired as a designer of Phenomenon upon the expiration of his designer contract.

・2018: Shinichi Osawa released a rap for the album「Attune/Detune」by MONDO GROSSO for the first time in 10 years.

・January 24, 2021: He died of sepsis. He died at the age of 47.

・September 2021: January 2021 The designer Takeshi Osumi passed away before the revival of the brand. Carefully selected items from the archive collection left by him while he was alive. The collaboration label「MCM by PHENOMENON"」and P + M (PHENOMENON + MCM) with MCM were re-released as permanent labels. This is a completely new collection of designs that Oosmi completed before his death.

Shaka Zombie's first album「HERO THE S.Z.」

The track created by track maker Shinji Tsuchida, who is also known for producing and remixing the works of many artists, has a unique acoustic space. The rapper style, in which the two rappers' straight messages are impressive, goes well with each other. 「rainbow」and「Let's go together」are said to be classics representing the scenes in the late 1990s.

It is also well known that "the day the sky was recovered" was used impressively not only in Japan but also in the animation 「Cowboy Bebop」which was highly praised overseas.

・SHAKKAZOMBIE 2nd album「JOURNEY OF FORESIGHT」

The 2nd album was released in 1999.

The BIG-O's vibrant flou and beat are combined with Hide Bowie's relicism, bringing them together in a solid form, and Shinji Tsuchida's beat, which brings out their individuality, is the trinity of SHAKKAZOMBIE World.

It has a mixed feeling, and the composition of「ELECTRONIC COMPOSITION」at the beginning combines coolness and heaviness with the composition of「INTRO (IN THE BEGINNING)」and entering the main part, which always has the experimental spice of the music, also incites the uplifting feeling of the listener. This album contains a variety of songs depicting various landscapes, such as the lyrical mood in "64 BARS RELAY (feat.DABO, XBS and SUIKEN)" which greets SUIKEN, the thrilling thrill shown in the DABO microphone relay, and the nostalgic worldview produced by DJ Watarai, BIG BLUE.

・Tribute EP「BIG-O DA ULTIMATE」dedicated to BIG-O who died young suddenly.

Finally, as a tribute to BIG-O Takeshi Oosmi who passed away young suddenly in January of this year, an EP with 6 songs was released on Wednesday, July 7, remixed/remake of Shaka Zombie's (cutting edge) period songs.

「BIG-O DA ULTIMATE」is a tribute work that brings together artists from across genres and generations to dedicate their respect to BIG-O.

「BIG BLUE (MURO ’ s KG Remix)」with members of NITRO MICROPHONE UNDERGROUND and MURO, and「IT'S OKAY (THE GOODFELLAZ REMby TSUTCHIE)」with members such as「toe,」Takayoshi Shirakawa (BACK DROP BOMB),「TOSHI-LOW (BRAHMAN/OAU), HIROSHI BROWN (RUDE BONES) and others from rock networks are participating in「BIG-O DA ULTIMATE.」
