Kyoto Store’s August Event Information!
For 3 days from August 11th to 13th, we will hold a sample reservation event for the new Taiwanese brand Chiahung Su, which will be newly introduced from the 24SS collection!
As we start a new lineup from the 24SS collection, we are borrowing samples from the generous brand Chiahung Su from Taiwan, and we are hosting a sample reservation event.
On one of the three days, Saturday the 12th, we will specially extend business hours until 9 PM JPT, and just like last month, we will prepare drinks and more to welcome you!
During this period, we will also have a wide selection of jewelry brand WERKSTATT:MÜNCHEN(ワークスタットミュンヘン) .
We have prepared more stocks than usual.

Chiahung Su's unisex wear, born from the basic concepts of Japanese aesthetics, Wabi-sabi, and the beauty of imperfection, is inspired by the moving beauty of impermanence and incompleteness.
To celebrate the unique fusion of Japanese and Taiwanese indigenous cultures, the brand proposes garments that inherit from both traditions using texts and techniques as roots for the future.
Furthermore, all garments are made from 100% sustainably recycled materials.

Chiahung Su continues its collaboration with Taiwan's indigenous Atayal people for the 24SS collection.
The collection showcases traditional indigenous hand-dyeing and hand-weaving techniques combined with modern fashion silhouettes.
The concept is to preserve the beauty of ancient times and cherish traditional culture.
We have gathered the items from the 23-24AW collection recently delivered from WERKSTATT MUNCHEN and are showcasing them at the Kyoto store!
As they are available for immediate purchase, you can buy them right there on the spot.

- 2023-24Autmn Winter Collection Season Concept -

There is nothing more needed right now than to come together to bridge the gap between divisions such as black and white, nature and artificiality, individual and collective, male and female.
We want to come together again.
In mathematics, the symbol "+" represents addition, and in electricity, it denotes the positive pole. This symbolism is captured in the collection's basic line, which is dedicated to the idea of unity, reunion, and positivity.
With this in mind, WERKSTATT used various tools like hammers, mills, and anvils to playfully engrave the most widely recognized symbol, the "+."
From its symmetry, the collection emphasizes the positive energy and the idea of "connection" represented by the "+." The pieces include rings, bracelets, keychains, and specially designed plates with the "+" pattern.
To visually express this concept, the title "Come Together" from The Beatles, which beautifully represents the essence of "+," was selected.
These words are engraved on the surface of the jewelry through hammering and embossing, sometimes intertwined with the "+," expressing a wild and free-spirited representation.
Furthermore, "Come Together" is symbolized by integrating clearly different elements in the bracelet, necklace, and earring series.
Alongside the "+," the 2023 collection continues to incorporate the theme of "travel." This led to the idea of using palm trees, symbolizing freedom, peace, luck, and "eternal vacation."
Enjoy the contrast between the shiny hammered surface and the delicate shape of the palm tree, resulting in balanced proportions. These pieces, with a rather plain and solid appearance, embellish bracelets, necklaces, and rings.
As part of our approach to creating timeless jewelry, the 2023 collection also focuses on creating non-concrete pieces. These items have a simple and clean look and are designed to carry the personal meaning and history of the wearer.
Necklaces, earrings, and bracelets were crafted by combining a shiny hand-hammered surface with delicate round silver wires. Particularly noteworthy is the wide pure silver "sheet" ring, achieving both lightness and presence simultaneously.
Lastly, as a new tool, a handleless spoon for scooping tea and sugar was developed.
