After Takahiro Miyashita, the founder and designer of Number (N)ine, left the brand in 2009, his goal was to create a product that more clearly reflected his own style. His brand was established in 2010.

In July 2010, the winter collection, the first of its kind, was presented in the form of an exhibition, and activities began in earnest.

“TheSoloIst.” in the brand name means "soloist," and it is the designer's wish that each person who picks up the clothes has a spirit of loneliness, and it shows his unwavering determination to return to the world of fashion which he himself has left.

The designer's favorite rock, punk musicians, their underlying rebellious spirit, and American culture inspired this work with a refined touch.
