KLASICA 22-23AW offers coats, jackets, and pants as part of the herringbone series, and this time, a shirt-type outer jacket is also available.
We selected these items after hearing the designer's thoughtful story at the exhibition and wanted to introduce them to you.
The overall design consists of a very simple loose silhouette. It is a casual outerwear that is convenient for daily wear and creates an unshakable axis of styling.
This design is based on an outerwear item that the designer, Mr. Kawamura, purchased in his hometown of Kyoto, which he loved and wore in his teens.
The design theme gives off a nostalgic vibe, and the fabrics used further emphasize the atmosphere.
The weave is a herringbone composed of a wool-linen blend.
The yarn colors are well balanced, and the pattern is exquisitely sized to leave a sense of presence without being too prominent.
In addition, the tumbled finish gives the overall look a softness with edges removed, which matches the design.
The front daytail has a collar without a pedestal collar, only nine regular front buttons and two pockets with flaps.
The silhouette is patterned in a stooped box shape with side seam pockets and storm cuffs.
The fabric is Australian wool and French linen. The tumbler-finished wool and the drape of the linen give movement and flex.
