JAN-JAN VAN ESSCHE specializes in designs that incorporate Japonism designs reminiscent of ancient Japanese kimonos into Western clothing.

There are still some kimono-like outfits this season, but this time the theme of the collection is the fashion of Afghans in the early 1900s.

Although the design and pattern work has not changed significantly from the previous JAN-JAN creations, the collection is finished with a monotone based color palette and a warm texture based on warm colors such as brown.

In the past, the autumn-winter season has been dominated by outerwear with a slightly higher degree of difficulty, but this time the trend has shifted to outerwear with trench coats and food coats, which are typical of Western clothing, making it easier to wear in urban settings.
