The image of the design is based on the [L7], one of the cold-weather clothes supplied only to the special forces of the U.S. military, commonly called "monster parka," which can withstand severe environments such as cold regions and high-altitude mountainous areas.

It is produced in Bishu, Japan's woolen textile production center, from a wool, cotton, and linen blend fabric that has been shrink-processed to give it a bristly and bulky feel.

The surface has a rough texture and a warm look typical of midwinter outerwear.

The body and sleeve linings are lined with quilted silk padding, and the ribbed sleeves and high neck prevent wind from entering through the neck and cuffs, making it extremely cold- and heat-resistant.

The design has a masculine nuance that is typical of military items, but the relaxed shape and the moderately loose length give it a sense of being loose, making it a cohesive overall finish.
