The theme for D.HYGEN's 23-24AW (Autumn/Winter) collection is SCAB II.

This theme visualizes the fragility and strength of life, and the beauty that arises from pain, and serves as a sequel to the previous 22-23AW (Autumn/Winter) collection.

This 23-24AW collection takes a step further by exploring the new theme of the traces left after the healing of wounds, incorporating it into the artwork in various ways.

This represents a reinterpretation of the power of humans to move forward past their pain, and the internal changes that result from the process, through a unique approach.

While at first glance, the concept of scars may evoke a negative image, through D.HYGEN's unique perspective, these scars become evidence of regeneration and growth.

They symbolize the difficulties and trials overcome in the process of life, while simultaneously serving as symbols of new evolution.

Depth Exploration: Theme and Expression

The collection theme is primarily expressed through color, fabric, and details that evoke the theme.

This diverse range of expression provides a unifying touch to the entire collection, leaving a lasting impression.

The theme of the collection is expressed in minute detail.

In fabrics, for instance, the scars are represented by the composition and patterns of the destroyed striped jacquard and patchwork fabrics.

In the details, overlock stitches and the use of zippers depict the aftermath of sutures, while in colors, uneven dyeing and reddish charcoal evoke the color of congealed blood.
