Growing up in an area where the environment in Canada was changing rapidly influenced outdoor wear, and from karate, which he learned as a child with his brothers, he became conscious of everyday clothes that did not allow him to smoothly perform a kicking motion.

He also learned a wide range of architectural ideas from his parents, who were architects, such as the idea that form follows function and unity. All these experiences are put to use naturally in apparel.

He is also involved with NIKELAB ACG, ARC ’ TERYX, BURTON, and STONE ISLAND concept line SHADOW PROJECT, Tilak, and many other projects of technical sports brands.

He also spent some time in Los Angeles, Tokyo, and New York. In Tokyo, he met and collaborated with Nigo, Jun Takahashi, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and others.
