The Viridi-anne - 2022-23 Autumn & Winter Collection

In preparation for the new season, we asked designers Okaniwa and Machida for their opinions on the autumn and winter season, including a brief questionnaire.

By the time we start accepting reservations, we would like to introduce themes, concepts, and personal recommendations for autumn and winter so please check them out.

Now, let us explain about autumn and winter!!

【About the theme and concept of 22-23 AW】

The Viridi-anne doesn't have an overt seasonal theme in recent years, but the key word for autumn winter design is "hybrid".

The Viridi-anne is based on the following concept:.

1. Hybridisation of modern function and tradition

2. Coexistence of avant-garde detail design and classic silhouette

In terms of these three points, it is not limited to this season, but it can be said that it is the concept of the recent production of The Viridi-anne.

There are a lot of black and brown items, and this is a fresh collection with red and vermilion (Red, bright red) as an accent to the calm autumn/winter atmosphere.

n the recent collection of The Viridi-anne, there are 2 elements of "classic tailored style" and "technical wear such as water repellent", and there was a season in which the coordination was contrary to each other (such as matching technical jacket with slacks of a suit fabric), but for the 22-23 AW season, I think there are relatively many items in which 2 elements are more familiar than before in terms of texture and color.

For example, "technical pants and corduroy jacket styling". Although it is a combination of different materials, it has a good balance of colors and is finished very nicely.

New coats, jackets, layered pants, etc. There are many items that look basic but are like a brand that has added a twist, and there are many items that are nostalgic and fresh for old fans.

As for styling, the impression that there are a little more styles like tops that are voluminous and the pants are slim.

There are a relatively large number of military items, but as a whole, it has a structure that makes it look beautiful vertically.
