【Who is baanai?】

Baanai was born in Kugenuma, Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is still based there. In 2015, he sent his portfolio to Rei Kawakubo at COMME des GARCONS, where his works were adopted.

At present, his works have been used by many brands and many individual exhibitions have been successful.

Once denied and repressed by those around him, baanai has pursued his art in a daunting way.

After working with a fashion brand, he began to think about what he wanted to do with subjectivity and objectivity.

In recent years, the author has pursued his own style by drawing the words "ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU" for 1 year and 365 days.
