This is the first time since we started dealing with GUIDI that we have produced a special order model, which is a cross between the Norveghese method [795V_N] derived from GUIDI's standard lace-up boot [795] and the new model [795BZX] with a back zip.
Recently, low-cut models such as [992] and standard back zip boots [988] and [788] have been gaining popularity at GUIDI due to their ease of access and variety of styling. When we saw [[795] at the exhibition, we were attracted by the freshness of the classic lace-up boots and the desire to propose these rugged boots for the first time in a while, and decided to make this model immediately.
We were also given a special sample of the boots, so we would like to introduce the design and features.

Rugged back zip & lace-up boots
As mentioned above, the design is a cross between the Norvegese method [795V_N] and the new model [795BZX] with a back zip.
The key points of the design are the voluminous sole, the back zip, and the long laces.
The zip placed on the back serves not only as a practical function, but also as a design accent.
The lace-up portion allows for subtle size adjustment, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit.
In addition, long laces can be wrapped around the shaft of the boot to deepen the rugged look.
At first glance, the back zip provides ease of putting on and taking off, while the lace-up provides freedom of size adjustment. Although these may seem to be at odds with each other, neither is an overpowering factor, but rather a perfect balance that blends both practicality and design at a high level.
The shape of the new model is such that it combines the best of both practicality and design.
The pattern is the [X] product number, which is a little wider than the previous model, and it provides comfortable room for the foot.
The sense of volume from the toe to the upper, which is a characteristic of GUIDI shoes, is alive and well in this model, and has the versatility to match various styles. In addition, the upper portion is finished with a modest volume, which is exquisitely balanced with the thick sole.
This ensures an exquisite balance that is not too assertive.
The outsole is slightly longer than [992] and [988], and the compatibility with thick pants as well as slim pants is outstanding.
The Norvegese manufacturing method, with its impressive thick stitching, involves scoop stitching the insole and upper, then out-stitching the folded upper and midsole, and then out-stitching the midsole and outsole.
Double-stitched decoration and robust construction are the main characteristics of these shoes, giving them a strong impression.

Horse leather, one of the standard and representative leathers, has been chosen.
The unique atmosphere that GUIDI leather gives off is one of the reasons why GUIDI shoes have been loved for a long time.
As those who have already been using GUIDI shoes know, GUIDI's designs are generally basic, yet instantly recognizable as GUIDI shoes, largely due to the texture of the leather.
This enhances the overall texture of the shoe and creates a unique GUIDI atmosphere.
The beauty of this leather increases with age, and the more it is used, the more it blends in, gaining its own luster and depth, making GUIDI shoes truly special.
The affinity with the rugged design, the contrast with the metal of the zip, and the overall atmosphere is also quite nice.

Regarding the sizing, it is similar to regular GUIDI sizing, so if you already own GUIDI shoes, sticking with the same size should be fine.
